My client is an established medical supplies company, and is distributing a quality range of products on behalf of its parent company, a large, organisation with a very diverse portfolio and major growth plans.

Strongly established in the North, my client is looking to continue to grow south of the border, concentrating on areas such as the Midlands, over to the West, down to Cork etc. Candidates might be best located in Dublin West, Midlands, Leinster.

Duties:

Your target market will be Occupational Therapists, Physios etc within a Community care setting ( hospitals, nursing homes clinics etc) and your main products will be postural seating, recliners , ramps etc

Requirements:

• This role would suit a candidate with the empathy and maturity to work with nursing homes etc and establish needs, build rapport and trust etc.

• You might work in a HSE role currently, with an interest in moving into sales.

• Alternatively you may be in a different sales area currently but looking to move into an area with more “feel” and reward for your efforts

• This wouldnt be described as a role requiring a traditional “killer” sales rep but rather somebody with well developed soft skills and the sense and intelligence to establish patient and customer needs and work accordingly. Most definitely it is a role for a relationship builder.

• Medical sales history is not required and full and detailed training will be given.

• Someone with the basic technical skills (not advanced ) to make sure products have been assembled and are operating correctly would be beneficial.

• Fluent English is a requirement.
