RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our clients based in Co. Louth are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. The business development executive is responsible for retaining and growing existing business bringing in new business for the company through a variety of sales techniques. Product area is IT – servers, PC’s, desktops, laptops, tablets etc

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a small successful sales team. Role is internally based and requires strong customer focus skills, rather than being a “hotshot seller”.

75% of the role is Account Management, looking after existing business.

Because of their far-reaching partnerships, my client can quote extremely quickly and efficiently, and once customer queries for quotations and pricing come through, there is a very good chance that you will be successful in your sales – provided you have strong customer skills, a good work ethic and fluency in English (this is a requirement).

Interest on IT products would be very useful, but full product training will be given. The role would also suit someone breaking into a more formal sales career, perhaps working in car leasing now, retail, etc

Duties:

• Dealing with email queries for quotations – this is a central part of the brief.

• Telephone Sales (Field Sales can be required at Times)

• New Business Acquisition

• Retain and Grow Existing Business

• Research and Sourcing of Products & Pricing

• Multi-Product Selling

• Build and Manage Sales Pipeline

• Achieve Monthly KPI’s and Targets

• Customer Service and Follow Through

• Build and Maintain Strong Customer Relationships

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate (Minimum), ideally a graduate, but not a requirement

• 1+ Years commercial Experience

• Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills

• Presentation, Interpersonal and Computer Application Skills
