Job Title: Hospital Sales Specialist, North Dublin, North Leinster

Ref: S011599

 

Salary: Neg on experience €70K+

 

Territory: North Dublin/North Leinster.

 

Description of Role: Our Client is a multinational pharmaceutical company, long established in Ireland with a growing dynamic team. A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Hospital sales representative- Key account manager, promoting a range of products within the area of nutrition and endocrinology. Previous Hospital Pharmaceutical and Key Account Management experience is essential.

As Hospital specialist your will be responsible for building relationships with Key Healthcare professionals within your key accounts to drive Sales Performance for the agreed product portfolio.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Promote your product portfolio to all target Stakeholders within secondary care hospitals

  • Ensure full and cost-effective coverage of customers within your assigned territory

  • Supporting and educating Healthcare professionals on products and appropriate use

  • Maintain required standard of product knowledge and therapeutic area technical knowledge

  • Plan to sell and exceed sales targets in line with agreed objectives and priorities.

  • Detailed adherence to company promotional policies in detailing and meetings with customers.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Degree level Qualified / or appropriate industry experience

  • Hospital Sales experience in Pharmaceuticals essential

  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work in an digital environment and good knowledge of digital software systems

  • Effective selling skills both one to one and in group presentations, face to face and virtually

  • Effective working knowledge of primary and secondary care structures and relevant customer types

 

In addition Candidates will be

 

  • Self-starter with excellent organisational and planning skills

  • Highly motivated to achieve goals with a focus on delivering on customer needs

  • An excellent planner with the ability to manage and plan time and promotional budget to achieve maximum impact and exceed sales targets

  • An excellent listener with good questioning skills

  • Have excellent presentation skills
